Cirrus
- It is a very neat boat, everyone loves the lines, just like I did when
I first saw the picture on your website. I launched yesterday, and it was
a beautiful day even tho 36 degrees in the A.M. I want to thank you for
excellent plans and instructions plus the help on your website, and last,
a very neat design in the "Cirrus". I love it, turned out just like I was
hoping, tracks like on rails but will turn with some nudging while keeping
the speed, really neat boat! It is probably the heaviest of anyones to date,
but I am working on that. The Luan plus my lay-ups and large fillets are
the reason I am sure, could have used 1/8" doorskin for sure. I applied
perfection varnish using syringes to mix so no loss from pouring the hardener.
The seat back if per your plans using doorskin, glass front and CF back,
really like it, very comfortable. Lastly the combing is fantastic, in both
function and looks, also very strong. Again thanks for your help. Storm SLT - Just would like to report, another fine boat you designed has hit the water! Josh took it out and liked it, I squeezed in later and loved it, too bad I am too large for it, but it worked displacement wise for sure. Beautiful boat for sure, tracks and no funny stuff, really nice to paddle... |
