I have been paddling the kayak just about every weekend and it has exceeded all I thought it would. I have since added a rudder and as can be seen in some of the pictures a GPS is mounted to the fore deck. I have been out on some extended trips and here are a couple of pictures from one of the trips. The kayak did every thing you said it would in the write up on it. Its a breeze to paddle and tracks like it is on rails. It performs well in cross winds. Thanks again - Gene |

Its been 3 years since i have finished the ca expedition and it is still going strong. Its been with me on many long hauls and in every situation I could imagine. From calm waters to heavy wind with 3 foot following waves. I could not imagine myself in any other kayak. I have tried many different types over the past 3 years and could not wait to get out of them and back into my kayak. Its pretty beat up know but in about a week i will bring it back down to the basement and refinish it again. The beuty of the stripper is that when i refinish it it will look as good as the day it was first finished. Thanks again |
